Guiding You Every Step of the Way
Our passionate coaching team is dedicated to helping you move better, feel stronger, and build lasting fitness habits. Many of our coaches started as Level Up Fitness members themselves, so they understand firsthand what it takes to progress. With expertise in functional training, strength coaching, and injury prevention, our team focuses on proper movement, modifications for all levels, and keeping workouts engaging and effective. Our women’s strength program is led by a coach specializing in nutrition and hormone health, providing a well-rounded approach to fitness.

Our founders
Jackie & Martin
While training for multiple Spartan Races, Jackie and Martin knew the island of Maui needed something different when it came to fitness and health. They wanted to create a community that valued their health, empowered people to get out of their comfort zones, and learn to move safely and effectively so they can continue to move for years to come. In March of 2020 Level Up Maui (formerly Epic) was born! Yes…just two weeks before a global pandemic. During the shutdown they kept everyone moving with live Zoom workouts, and once they were able to train in person again it was game on! What started out as a workout with a handful of friends turned into the most amazing, empowering, and motivating community who now focuses on LEVELING UP in ALL areas of their lives.
A Space Designed for Strength and Community
With 5,000 square feet of open space, Level Up Fitness is designed for movement and community. We train barefoot on soft jiu-jitsu mats, creating a unique and joint-friendly workout experience. The facility includes two floors, with group training downstairs and kickboxing upstairs. We have a dedicated training area for semi-private and women’s strength programs, plus two bathrooms and showers for members. Our gym is also kid- and dog-friendly, making it a welcoming space for everyone.
Tools for Strength, Built for Performance
We specialize in functional training, using wreck bags, slam balls, kettlebells, dumbbells, and resistance bands instead of traditional barbells. Our rig with monkey bars supports grip strength and obstacle course-style training. For conditioning, we have bikes, rowers, and ski ergs, though our focus is on building strength through movement. We also provide squat racks and cable machines in our dedicated strength areas.
